In the post-industrial age we are living in, knowledge has come to the fore as the most important value. Knowledge has become the decisive force in every field, from economics to politics, from daily life to international relations. This naturally makes it inevitable for higher education to renew itself according to new parameters. In this context, not only knowledge itself but also how this knowledge is produced, interpreted, applied, verified, and even disproved has gained importance. Within the global system, academia must focus on knowledge that has been obtained through scientific methods, filtered through analytical processes, enriched by interdisciplinary interaction, and transformed into an applicable format.
According to the new educational approach, academic disciplines should transcend their own boundaries and interact with other disciplines, providing students with a well-rounded education, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving abilities. The global relevance of the knowledge gained and its applicability in different fields depend on these processes.
Istanbul Ticaret University Graduate School of Education provides education in line with the needs of globalization, the information age, and the post-industrial society; based on the principles of scientific competence, ethical responsibility, social benefit, and application-oriented education; with a competent teaching staff in its field and an interdisciplinary formation. Our institute continues its education, teaching, and research activities with its campuses in the heart of Istanbul, its strong faculty, and the support of the Istanbul Chamber of Ticaret, offering over 150 programs in the fields of science and social sciences.
Our graduate programs are offered at the Küçükyalı Hezarfen campus on the Asian side of Istanbul and at the Sütlüce Sâdâbâd and Eminönü Ahî Çelebi campuses on the European side. All three campuses are located on major transportation routes and are easily accessible from anywhere in Istanbul via metro, Marmaray, and metrobus.
