Psychology Society

The Psychology Society, affiliated to the Cultural Directorate of the Department of Health, Culture and Sports of Istanbul Commerce University, has been helping the students to organize social and academic activities, and to develop their general cultural and intellectual aspects of the science of psychology with the guests invited outside of the university since 2003. During the term, they organize conferences, panels and speeches about social responsibility, social activities and academic topics.

Istanbul Commerce University Psychology Society is a community of psychology students, which supports psychology students to develop themselves through seminars and workshops, and helps them to connect with psychologists and academics who are experts in their fields, and brings psychology students together with other students who are interested in the field through interdisciplinary activities.

Psychology Society activities include documentary-movie screenings and discussions, psychology-themed speeches, and social responsibility projects. In addition, every year, “Psychology Days” are organized by the community. Its a two day organization that brings psychology students from different universities together with seminars and workshops on current issues from different fields of psychology.

Psychology Days are one of the most participated events in our university. Psychology students studying at other schools are hosted during the Psychology Days, which are organized with a different theme every year, where experts in their fields are invited as speakers. With the congresses, meetings and active social media presence in our school, the Psychology Society has succeeded in making its presence known by many schools and communities.
