Corporate Communication, which is a fundamental element of contemporary management, consists of planned and programmed efforts aimed at achieving individuals’ or institutions’ goals by addressing the desires, expectations, and needs of target audiences, thereby gaining public trust and creating a positive image. In this respect, Corporate Communication is considered not only a managerial function but also a management process that relies on research, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
With the influence of globalization and the ongoing changes and developments in economic, political, legal, and social structures, businesses are placing more importance than ever on Corporate Communication activities to adapt to the environment of hyper-competition and ensure organizational continuity. As a function of strategic communication management in business organizations, corporate communication has become increasingly significant for today’s enterprises through its roles in promoting products, services, and institutions, planning special events, building a strong image and reputation, boosting employee motivation to enhance corporate productivity, and transforming potential crises into promotional opportunities through effective communication.
Nowadays, where perception is considered as important as actual appearance, it is evident that the profession of corporate communication plays a globally critical role in business, education, tourism and entertainment sectors, non-governmental organizations, and beyond.
