Internet technology, communication, and communication-based technological innovations have expanded the role of digital applications in economic and social life, fundamentally transforming all elements within the value chain, such as production, consumption, and distribution.
Concepts such as R&D, Industry 4.0, and innovation have reshaped production, while applications like e-commerce, online marketing, digital advertising, and marketing have profoundly impacted traditional approaches in economies. Today, as markets evolve toward a dynamic, interactive, fast, and digitally-oriented consumption structure, traditional economic and business approaches are becoming insufficient. Understanding digital transformation more closely in this period, where the consumer-producer relationship has changed, also means better managing evolving economic relationships.
The Digital Economy and Marketing Master’s Program is designed as a multidisciplinary program to provide the necessary knowledge and skills to analyze the economic and social foundations of ongoing digital transformation from both theoretical and practical perspectives and to develop marketing and business strategies suitable for this transformation.
The program will be conducted practically with courses delivered by academics from the Economics, Business, and Communication departments, as well as instructors from the business world who closely follow this transformation.
