GRADUATE SCHOOL

The aim of Istanbul Ticaret University’s Electronic and Communication Engineering Program is to provide engineers and engineering students with a solid scientific and technical knowledge base in the design, development, production, and operation of electronic and communication systems and devices. Our department has a faculty that is competent in its field and combines theory with practice. Our doctoral program trains distinguished doctoral engineers thanks to the research projects of our faculty members and the research opportunities offered by our institution. Electronics and Communications Engineers work on the processing, transmission, detection, and storage of information such as data, voice, and video; the design of electronic systems and devices that perform these functions; antennas and electromagnetic field and wave theories and applications; and the physics and production technologies of semiconductor electronic components. In addition, parallel to developing technologies, the Internet of Things, Data Security, and Big Data Analysis are also seen as our areas of focus. Our graduates are employed as high-level researchers in a wide variety of sectors, primarily in electronics, communications, telecommunications, the defense industry, research, and educational institutions. Our students have the opportunity to participate in joint projects through our integration with Technopark Istanbul and agreements with companies such as TAİ, CTECH, and NETAŞ, thereby gaining employment opportunities at these companies.
