Private Law

The Private Law Master’s Program aims to equip students with a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts of private law and both national and international developments in the field. In this context, identifying emerging legal problems in practice and acquiring the necessary methods and resources for solving these issues form the foundation of the education.

Through a wide range of elective courses, students are provided with the opportunity to specialize and deepen their knowledge in various areas of private law, such as civil law, commercial law, labor law, and civil procedure and enforcement law. The program offers a comparative perspective on the history and current state of private law in Turkey and globally, while classroom discussions also allow students to reflect on the future of private law. Graduates of the program will possess in-depth knowledge of current developments in private law and will also learn how to stay up to date, giving them a competitive edge in their professional careers.

The perspective gained during their master’s studies will enable students to develop different viewpoints, helping them anticipate and prepare for legal issues that may arise in the future—issues that others may not foresee.
