Dr. Çelik was born in 1950 in Çorum. He graduated from the Civil Engineering Department of the State Academy of Engineering and Architecture. In 1974, he founded Sahil İnşaat ve Pazarlama A.Ş. (Sahil Construction and Marketing Incorporated), namely Sinpaş. Apart from the real estate sector, he also invested in industry, service, construction and energy sectors. Today, he manages Sinpaş Holding, which is one of Turkey’s leading companies with its 33 companies and more than 2,000 employees. Additionally, he has been serving as the Chairman of GYODER (Real Estate Investors Association) High Advisory Board, a Member of ITO (Istanbul Chamber of Commerce) Assembly and a member of the Istanbul Ticaret University Board of Trustees, and as the president of many other professional associations and foundations.
