He was born in 1959 in Kayseri province, Develi district.
He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Business Administration.
His family business, Burak Packaging Group Companies, in which he is a partner, operates in the paper, packaging, printing and import-export industries.
Mehmet Develioğlu, who had previously held the positions of vice chairman of the ITO Assembly and board member, was appointed Vice Chairman of the ITO Board of Directors for the 21st term.
Mr. Develioğlu, a member of the General Assembly of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and a member of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce’s Professional Committees and Assembly, is also the Vice President of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Education and Social Services Foundation.
A member of many non-governmental, voluntary and sectoral organizations, Mr. Develioğlu served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of ICCMA-Istanbul Corrugated Cardboard Manufacturers Association.
Mr. Develioğlu, who has a keen interest in NGO activities, has held various positions in ITESRF-International Technological Economic Social Research Foundation, including Board of Trustees, Board of Directors, Vice-President and President. He remains a member of the UTESAV Board of Directors for the new term of office.
Mr. Develioğlu, who has worked and served at many levels of MUSIAD, including membership on the Board of Directors, vice-presidency, and membership on the High Advisory Board, was named vice-president following MUSIAD’s 26th Ordinary General Assembly.
Mr. Develioğlu is married and father of two children, and he has worked in the paper, packaging, and printing industries for over 40 years.
