Students who will take the Thesis Defense Exam in the Fall Semester of the 2024-2025 Academic Year must submit the necessary forms to the Institute Directorate with the approval of their advisors between October 7, 2024 and January 3, 2025.
Incompletely signed forms will not be processed.

FORMS THAT MASTER’S/PHD STUDENTS WITH THESIS MUST SUBMIT TO
THE INSTITUTE
• Masters:PhD Thesis Presentation Form
This is the form that indicates that the student has completed their thesis work and requests to take the defense exam. The top part of the form is filled out and signed by the student. The filled form is submitted to the
thesis advisor along with documents showing that the thesis work and article requirements have been or will be met and signed. After the approval of the thesis advisor, the form is delivered to the Institute
Directorate along with the same documents. The submitted form is submitted to the Department Head by the Institute Directorate for approval.
• Masters:PhD Thesis Jury and Exam Date Proposal Form
This is the form in which the interview jury and the exam date for the student’s defense are determined by the Department Head. The form must be filled out by the Department Head and submitted to the Institute Directorate.
• Master’s:Doctorate Thesis Submission Form
*Article Requirement * Thesis Plagiarism Report and the 3 documents mentioned above must be submitted to the institute by the application dates with signatures.

According to Article 37, Clause 2 of Istanbul Commerce University Postgraduate Education and Training Regulation; Fees for master’s, doctoral and/or scientific and foreign language preparation programs, tuition fees per course, thesis fee, term project course fee and pre-registration fee are determined by the Board of Trustees again at the end of the academic year to be applied in the following academic year. The program fee is the equivalent of two semesters for non-thesis master’s programs, four semesters for thesis master’s programs and eight semesters for doctoral programs. Students who receive a maximum of one semester for non-thesis master’s programs, a maximum of two semesters for thesis master’s programs and a maximum of four semesters for doctoral programs pay the additional tuition fee determined by the Board of Trustees. The additional time fee is applied to newly registered students as of the Fall Semester of the 2020-2021 Academic Year, within the framework of the Board of Trustees Decision.
