Kazakhstan’s independence day was celebrated at our university.

Kazakhstanis in Istanbul held a ceremony at Istanbul Ticaret University on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of their country’s independence. Istanbul Ticaret University Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu also attended and made a speech at the event.
Kazakh music was played and theater performances were held in the event organized by the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Istanbul and the “Birlik Qazaq Jastary” Society. In addition, the guests were offered special treats specific to Kazakhstan.
Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu congratulated Kazakhstan’s independence day by stating that Kazakhstan has now turned 30 years old and is a great country that has proven its maturity. Prof. Dr. Oğurlu said that as Istanbul Ticaret University they are ready for any kind of cooperation and partnership with institutions and universities in Kazakhstan.
Kazakh university students and Kazakhs in Istanbul showed great interest in the independence day ceremonies held in Istanbul Ticaret University.
