On June 11, 2026, the Istanbul Ticaret University Exchange Programs Coordination Office organized a Farewell Dinner for Erasmus+ and Orhun exchange students at Cemile Sultan Korusu in Üsküdar. During the event, students had the opportunity to share the academic and cultural experiences they gained throughout the semester while celebrating their international friendships.
The event, which brought together students studying at Istanbul Ticaret University during the spring semester of the 2025–2026 academic year under the Erasmus+ and Orhun mobility programs, was attended by 24 exchange students from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Romania, Slovenia, and Poland, as well as the buddy/mentor students who supported them throughout the semester.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCES AND CROSS-CULTURAL INTERACTION
Held at Cemile Sultan Korusu, the farewell dinner provided a special setting for students to reflect on the experiences they gained during their exchange, strengthen the friendships they formed throughout the semester, and reconnect with students from different cultures.
Throughout the event, students shared the academic, cultural, and personal experiences they gained during their semester at Istanbul Ticaret University, while also expressing their views on the multicultural learning environment offered by international exchange programs.

MEETING WITH STUDENTS
The event was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Elif Nuray Yıldırım, Exchange Programs Coordinator, as well as Erasmus Specialists Asena Leblebici and Betül Doğdu. Asst. Prof. Dr. Yıldırım, thanked the students for their adaptability and contributions throughout the semester and wished them success in their future academic and personal lives.

A MEANINGFUL END TO THE SEMESTER
The Farewell Dinner, held to mark the end of the Spring Semester, served as a meaningful gathering to celebrate the international friendships and connections the students had forged during their time at Istanbul Ticaret University.
While Istanbul Ticaret University continues its internationalization efforts under the Erasmus+ and Orhun exchange programs, it remains committed to providing its students with environments where they can interact with different cultures, gain a global perspective, and forge lasting international bonds.
