A protocol has been signed between our University and Şişli MEM

A protocol was signed between Istanbul Ticaret University and Şişli District Directorate of National Education (MEM), envisaging joint work on teacher training and high school-university cooperation. Istanbul Ticaret University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Elçin Aykaç Alp and Director of Şişli District Directorate of National Education Mr. Selman Küçük attended the signing ceremony.
As per the said protocol between our University and Şişli District Directorate of National Education, seminars will be held for the professional development of teachers working in the Şişli District, which will be attended by the academicians of our University. The protocol also envisages a 35 percent discount for teachers working in the Şişli District on graduate education programs offered by Istanbul Ticaret University.
According to the protocol, our academicians will mentor teachers and students in competitions such as TEKNOFEST and FIRA, in which secondary school students in Şişli will participate. TICARET Technology Transfer Office will support teachers and students in this regard.
The signed protocol also envisages joint activities between the secondary education student societies and the student societies at our university. In addition, necessary scientific consultancy services will be provided by our University for the preparation of scientific studies and projects.
In addition, it will be possible to develop joint projects within the framework of the protocol in collaboration with R&D-oriented institutions and organizations with a view to develop advanced technology products in order to increase domestic and international competitiveness.
Istanbul Ticaret University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Elçin Aykaç Alp and Director of Şişli District Directorate of National Education Mr. Selman Küçük both expressed the hope that this protocol will be the first step of cooperation between the University and the Directorate, and put signature to the protocol.
