The tour started with the visit at the “Ofiste Her Şey” experience center in Levent, Istanbul. Here, students were informed about the products available at the center. This event was held under the guidance of the experienced staff of the “Mod Tasarım” brand, who answered students’ questions about the products available in the architectural product-material library established to experience “Ofiste Her Şey”.
The tour, which started with the introduction of the products-materials, continued with a visit to the factory of “Mod Tasarım” brand in İkitelli, Istanbul covering an area of 5.500 square meters, where students got detailed information about the production and processes.
Ercan Sicim, Chairman of the Board of “Mod Tasarım” and “Ofiste Her Şey”, has said: “We are happy to have the privilege of hosting the academic staff and students of one of the most prestigious universities in our country. The most important factor that will enable our students to find a job after graduation is to have the opportunity to do internship. We, as “Ofiste Her Şey” and “Mod Tasarım”, organized a technical trip to our production facilities in İkitelli, Istanbul. In this way, students were able to get some information about the materials, products and machines from the authorized masters. Additionally, we launched a project competition for our students at the Faculty of Architecture of Istanbul Ticaret University. Students will be able to participate in this competition with their projects and their projects will be evaluated by a committee under “Ofiste Her Şey”. The winner of the competition will be provided with an internship opportunity at “Ofiste Her Şey”. I am sure that our young students will come up with high quality projects. They are all very valuable to us. We witness the importance of involving our young people in projects first hand, and whenever we do, they never cease to amaze us in return. We would like to thank all our faculty members and students for all their cooperation with us in advance.”
