An Evaluation on Undergraduate and Graduate Communication Education: An Interview with Prof. Dr. Celalettin Aktaş

Istanbul Ticaret University Faculty of Communication Dean Prof. Dr. Celalettin Aktaş answered the questions of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nihal Kocabay Şener in the interview published in the 12^th issue of the Yeni Medya (New Media) journal. Prof. Dr. Aktaş shared his important observations about how education and research processes have been transformed in the context of communication sciences in the digital age we live in and the related issues that the ones studying in the fields of communication sciences should pay attention to.

In the interview published with the title of “An Evaluation on Undergraduate and Graduate Communication Education: An Interview with Prof. Dr. Celalettin Aktaş” in the 12^th issue of the international peer-reviewed e-journal entitled “Yeni Medya” published by the Faculty of Communication of Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, Prof. Dr. Aktaş expressed that digitalization and educational processes should proceed in parallel with theory and practice in communication sciences, and emphasized the importance of improving one’s self and adapting to the digital age in respect of the experts and academicians working in this field.
