Our academician Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sabri Öz’s book “Metaverse” released

The “Metaverse” book, edited by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sabri Öz, Member of Faculty at Logistics Department of Faculty of Business Administration, jointly by Rızvan Yılmaz and Dr. Cengiz Akyıldız, has been published.

The book features articles by Sercan Bayram, who works as Forensic Informatics Specialist at Istanbul Ticaret University, Rızvan Yılmaz and Selçuk Bayer, whose SAPTEY (Industry Policies and Technology Management) PhD process continues, Dr. Cengiz Akyıldız, one of the graduates of our PhD program, Prof. Dr. İsmail Ekmekci, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sabri Öz, on education, the healthcare sector, OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) and cyber security on Metaverse platforms, and social effects of the platforms.

Attorney Dr. Çiğdem Ayözger Öngün, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammet Özdemir and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Baltacı also contributed to the book with sections on the legal aspects of Metaverse, the social effects of Metaverse and areas of use of Metaverse in the field of education, respectively. The book consists of eight chapters and an appendix with a sample agreement.

The book also includes the technical document of the “Istanbul School of Metaverse” Educational Institution and the samples of the business partnership agreement in the Metaverse environment. The book was published by Hyper Publishing.
