Istanbul Ticaret University is also a pioneer in the number of international publications

Istanbul Ticaret University became a pioneer in the sector with the high increase in its occupancy rates, the number of projects and student achievements, as well as the number of international publications, which increased up to 12 times compared to previous years.

Istanbul Ticaret University achieved a 12-fold growth in the number of articles indexed by the Web of Science Index Q1 standard, the highest standard in international publication quality, and a five-fold increase in the number of articles indexed by the Scopus Index Q1 standard, in the first 10 months of 2022. In addition, there has been a five-fold increase in the total number of quality publications indexed by the Q1 and Q2 standards of the Web of Science Index, which are deemed as the most prestigious  standards by the world-wide indexed journals, compared to the previous three years.

Furthermore, the number of publications indexed by the Q2 standard, which follows the Q1 standard in quality, Istanbul Ticaret University grew four times in Web of Science and three times in Scopus Indexes in the first 10 months of 2022.

Publications indexed by the Q1 standard represent articles published in very high impact journals deemed the “best” internationally and publications indexed by the Q2 standard represent articles published in high impact journals deemed the “good” internationally. Both Scopus and Web of Science Indexes are considered the world’s most respected abstract and citation databases.
