Prof. Dr. Mustafa ILICALI was given the title of “Uncle Traffic” in the seminar entitled “There are No Minor Errors in Traffic”.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa ILICALI, the Director of Istanbul Ticaret University Transportation Systems Application and Research Center, who has been dealing with transportation and traffic issues for 43 years, giving lectures at the university, developing projects for municipalities and relevant central administrations, and contributing to the legislative process on the subject during his service in the Turkish Grand National Assembly, and who is accepted by all representatives of the sector regardless of their political views as the leading transportation and traffic expert of our country, was given the title of “Uncle Traffic” at the “There are No Small Errors in Traffic” seminar held in his hometown, Erzurum.

This title, which was offered by the Mayor of the Yakutiye District Mr. Mahmut UÇAR, registered by Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality and finally confirmed by the Governor of Erzurum Province Mr. Okay MEMİŞ, was approved by the people present in the hall with great applause. Prof. Dr. Mustafa ILICALI will continue his academic studies, application projects and works in the field of transportation and traffic, which he has carried out for 43 years, from now on with the title of Uncle Traffic, which he received from Erzurum. Prof. Dr. ILICALI expressed his satisfaction for having received this title from his hometown. He thanked the Governor of Erzurum Province, the Mayor of Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality, the Mayor of Yakutiye Disctrict and all the guests in the hall for their support.
