HAÇİKO Founder Ms. Ömür Gedik visited our University

Hürriyet Newspaper Columnist, Artist, Founding President of the Association for the Protection of Animals from Helplessness and Apathy (HAÇİKO) Ms. Ömür Gedik, along with HAÇİKO Founding Vice President Attorney Mr. Yıltay Günay and Kanal D News Reporter Mr. İbrahim Konar visited our university and met with our Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Abdulhamit Avşar.

Ms. Gedik and the accompanying delegation gave information about HAÇİKO to Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Avşar, and Prof. Dr. Avşar stated his satisfaction with the visit and stated that he would be pleased to develop cooperation with HAÇİKO.

After the visit, Ms. Gedik and the accompanying delegation had a pleasant conversation with our university students on the subject of “The Role of the Press in Animal Rights” within the scope of the event held at the Faculty of Communication Studio. After the event, the foundation of Young HAÇİKO was laid between HAÇİKO and our university students.
