Our academics took part in TÜBA’s “Global Transformations and Türkiye” Conference

Academicians of our University contributed to the “Global Transformations and Türkiye” conference, where scientists from around the world came together to discuss the effects of global transformations on Türkiye, with a joint declaration.

The conference titled “Global Transformations and Türkiye”, held at Istanbul University Beyazıt Campus on April 18^th-20^th, 2024, was hosted by the international relations working group of the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA). At the conference, which brought together more than 60 scientists from various parts of the world, the effects of global transformations on Türkiye were discussed.

ACADEMICIANS FROM OUR UNIVERSITY CONTRIBUTED TO THE CONFERENCE WITH A JOINT DECLARATION

Four valuable academicians from our university contributed to the conference. Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Mustafa Said Yazıcıoğlu, Faculty Member at the Department of Economics Prof. Dr. Nazım Ekren, Head of the Department of Political Science and International Relations Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uğur Yasin Asal, and Dr. Mefule Fındıkçı Erdoğan participated in the conference as co-authors of the paper titled “Enhancing the Economic Diplomacy Capacity and Performance in Türkiye in the New Global Political Economy Environment: A Model Proposal”.

The conference, which was held in English, offered a broad academic perspective on global transformations to academicians, policy makers and the general public.
