Our Quality Coordination Office is at the YÖKAK Conference

Our Quality Coordination Office, which was established by Istanbul Commerce University with the aim of being among the top 10 universities, participated in the YÖKAK International Quality Assurance and Accreditation Conference held in Ankara with the theme “Internalization and Improvement of Quality in Higher Education”. At the conference, our university is represented by Quality Coordinator Prof. Dr. Berk Ayvaz.
“2024 YÖKAK International Quality Assurance and Accreditation Conference”, organized by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK) and hosted by Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University (AHBVÜ), was held on 25-26 April 2024. The President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar and YÖKAK President Prof. Dr. Ümit Kocabıçak, President of the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Şeker, members of the Presidential Education and Training Policies Board, Prof. Dr. Tuncay Döğeroğlu and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevat Acar, President of the Vocational Qualifications Authority, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Necmi İlhan, Vice President of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education Doris Herrman, YÖKAK advisors Prof. Dr. Ivan Leban, Ronny Heintze and Prof. Dr. Olgun Çiçek, international quality agency representatives and academicians attended the conference. Stephane Lauwick, President of the European Higher Education Quality Assurance Registry (EQAR), participated via video conference.
ALL PARTIES OF ‘QUALITY’ CAME TOGETHER 2024 YÖKAK International Quality Assurance and Accreditation Conference, in addition to scientific exchanges in the field of quality assurance in universities and panels where current issues in the field are discussed; It offered the opportunity for interaction between stakeholders such as quality assurance agencies, accreditation bodies and higher education institutions on an international and national basis. The conference, whose main theme was “Internalization and Improvement of Quality in Higher Education”, aimed to bring together scientific developments, innovations, experiences and different perspectives in the field of quality assurance in higher education.
