Prof. Dr. Elif Güneren Genç has been appointed Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration

Prof. Dr. Elif Güneren Genç, a faculty member of the Department of Aviation Management at our University’s Faculty of Business Administration, has been appointed as Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration. At the handover ceremony attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. Necip Şimşek, Prof. Dr. Genç took over the position from Prof. Dr. Recep Bildik.
PROF. DR. BİLDİK: WILL SUCCEED THROUGH MERIT AND EXPERIENCE
Prof. Dr. Recep Bildik, who handed over the position of Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration to Prof. Dr. Genç, stated that the Faculty of Business Administration is the largest faculty at our university and is essentially its backbone, saying: “I am confident that our colleague Elif, to whom I am handing over the position of Dean, will continue to perform this important role successfully, given her necessary qualifications and experience. I am pleased to have worked with him in harmony and peace during my tenure, achieving productive results. I wish Prof. Dr. Elif Güneren Genç success in her new role.”

PROF. Dr. Elif Güneren Genç, who was appointed Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration as of February 10, 2025, also stated: “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our University’s Board of Trustees and senior management for deeming me worthy of this valuable position. My primary objectives will be to further advance the academic achievements of our faculty, provide our students with innovative and high-quality education that meets the demands of the modern era, strengthen the institutional structure of our faculty, and contribute to its confident progress toward the future.
