Admission Requirements for Internal Transfer

Graduate School of  Finance, 2021-2022 Academic Year Fall Semester will admit students to Master’s and Doctorate programs by means of Internal Transfer.

Candidates must submit the attached Application Form and the documents specified in the form to the Graduate School of Finance Administrative Office in our Sütlüce Campus, between the dates specified below.

Student admission through internal transfer

ARTICLE 44 – (1) Successful students who have completed at least one semester, excluding scientific preparation, in a graduate program of an institute at the university or in another higher education institution, can apply to graduate programs through internal transfer.

(2) In order to be admitted to the institute, those who want to transfer from one of the institutes of another university that are similar to an institute of the university and whose equivalence has been approved by the relevant institute board, have completed at least one semester of graduate education in the institute where the student first entered, and have successfully completed all of the courses they have taken. must have fulfilled the current student admission requirements to the graduate programs that they want to transfer to.

(3) The same conditions are sought for internal transfers between the institutes and departments of the university and between the thesis and non-thesis master’s programs.

(4) Which of the courses taken by these students will be counted towards the relevant graduate program is determined by the recommendation of the head of the department and the decision of the institute board of directors. The evaluations on the equivalence of the courses that these students have taken and succeeded in the programs are made by the relevant institute board.

(5) Students who make internal transfer are subject to the maximum periods specified in this Regulation for the stage they are admitted to the program.
