Cooperation with Bayrampasa Municipality

A cooperation protocol was signed between Istanbul Ticaret University and Bayrampasa Municipality. With this protocol, Istanbul Ticaret University will provide discounts to Bayrampaşa Municipality employees, their spouses and children in graduate education programs, whereas Bayrampaşa Municipality will provide internship support to Istanbul Ticaret University students.

The cooperation protocol was signed at the Istanbul Ticaret University Senate Hall with the participation of Istanbul Ticaret University Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu and Bayrampaşa Mayor Mr. Atila Aydıner.

As per the protocol, Bayrampaşa Municipality will provide internship support to Istanbul Ticaret University students in the business sectors in which they operate, within their own needs and conditions. Istanbul Ticaret University, on the other hand, will provide a 35 percent discount to Bayrampaşa Municipality employees, their spouses and children in graduate education programs except for distance education programs, subject to the availability of quotas and the evaluation standards of YÖK (Council of Higher Education).

In addition, Istanbul Ticaret University will offer a 25 percent discount to Bayrampaşa Municipality employees, their spouses and children in certification programs to be organized by the Istanbul Ticaret University Continuing Education Center.

Istanbul Ticaret University Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu and Bayrampaşa Mayor Mr. Atila Aydıner wished the cooperation to be beneficial and signed the protocol. The signing ceremony ended with the exchange of gifts.
