International Students Gathered at the Iftar Event

International students studying at Istanbul Ticaret University came together at iftar, the breaking meal of the Ramadan fast, held at the university. Our Chairman of the Board of Trustees Dr. İsrafil Kuralay, Head of Media and Communication Department Prof. Dr. Abdülhamit Avşar, Faculty Member at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Dr. Zebiniso Kamalova, Secretary General Dr. Oğuz Özcan and many students attended the iftar event.

Dr. İsrafil Kuralay, who made a greeting speech at the iftar event organized jointly by many student groups under the leadership of the International Student Association, stated that they were happy to host over a thousand international students at Istanbul Ticaret University and said that it was exciting to gather with the students at this event.

Emphasizing that she, herself, came to Türkiye as a student, Dr. Kamalova noted that being an international student in Türkiye is very valuable.

After the greeting speeches, the students introduced themselves and expressed their demands and shared their suggestions about the university. At the end of the iftar event, all participating students were given 300 TL worth gift certificates from the Commercium and various gifts.
