Incubation Center for Financial Technologies “Cube Ümraniye”

A cooperation protocol was signed between our university, Teknopark (Technopark) Istanbul, of which we are the founding partner, and Ümraniye Municipality, regarding the services to be carried out in the real estate leased for five years as an incubation center in Ümraniye District. Initiatives and projects in the field of financial technologies will be implemented in the incubation center. Cube Incubation will be second satellite incubation center of Teknopark Istanbul.
The signing ceremony that took place at Cube Incubation was held with the participation of Ümraniye Mayor Mr. İsmet Yıldırım, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Teknopark İstanbul Prof. Dr. Metin Yerebakan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Teknopark İstanbul Mr. Şekib Avdagiç, Teknopark Istanbul General Manager Mr. Bilal Topçu, Istanbul Ticaret University Chairman of the Board of Trustees Dr. İsrafil Kuralay and Istanbul Ticaret University Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Torlak.
Ümraniye Satellite Incubation Center, which will fill an important gap in the development of initiatives and projects in the field of financial technologies, is planned to become operational in the near future with the partnership of Teknopark Istanbul, Ümraniye Municipality and Istanbul Ticaret University.
There will be many opportunities for entrepreneurs
Cube Ümraniye, which will be materialized with the support of Ümraniye Municipality, which hosts the Istanbul International Finance Center, and Istanbul Ticaret University, which has important studies on the Istanbul Finance Center Strategy and Action Plan, as well as the experience of Teknopark Istanbul and its incubation center Cube Incubation in the entrepreneurship ecosystem, will bring innovation to the entrepreneurship ecosystem, especially in the field of financial technologies.
In Cube Ümraniye, there will be many opportunities for entrepreneurs and entrepreneur candidates, such as modern workspaces, trainings and events, mentoring, academic and technical consulting, technical and entrepreneurial analysis support, investor and company meetings, access to databases, interviews with partner companies working in important fields of finance, technology transfer office (TTO) supports and tax advantages available for technoparks.
