Our university was awarded at SUMMITS’24

Istanbul Ticaret University Transportation Systems Application and Research Center was awarded in the municipality category at the International Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Summit 2024 (SUMMITS’24). The Summit was held at Hacettepe University Tunçalp Özgen Congress and Culture Center between May 2nd and 4th, 2024. Many academicians, public and private sector representatives attended the summit titled “Leading the Digital Transformation of Transport with ITS”, where the opening speeches were made by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Türkiye Mr. Abdulkadir Uraloğlu.

THE DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OFFICE HAD BEEN CONCEPTUALIZED

The “Establishment of IETT Digital Transformation Office” project supported by the Istanbul Development Agency, which we conceptualized jointly with the General Directorate of The Istanbul Electricity, Tram and Tunnel Establishments (IETT) under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Mustafa ILICALI, Director of Istanbul Ticaret University Transportation Systems Application and Research Center, was awarded in the municipality category at SUMMITS’24 organized by Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Türkiye. In addition, the paper titled “A Study on Strengthening Traffic Safety with Technological Support (Interactive Warning System and Interactive Control System)” by the Center Director Prof. Dr. Mustafa ILICALI and Mr. Melikşah ÇAKALOĞLU was presented at the Summit.
