Istanbul Commerce University students played an active role in STKFest 2025, which strengthens social responsibility awareness and increases interaction with civil society organizations. Coordinated by our university’s Health, Culture, and Sports (HCS) Directorate, the Marketing, Information, and Technology (MIT), Photography, Mathematics, Logistics, and Generation Z Communities represented our university at the event held on October 22–23, 2025.

Organized in collaboration with the Turkish Voluntary Organizations Foundation (TGTV), the Islamic World NGOs Union (IWNGU), and Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, STKFest 2025 brought together university youth and civil society organizations on the same platform. Our Marketing, Information and Technology (BİTEK), Photography, Mathematics, Logistics, and Generation Z communities participating in the event had the opportunity to meet different institutions and organizations, present their projects, and evaluate opportunities for collaboration.

COLLABORATION, VOLUNTEERING, AND PROJECT DISCUSSIONS
Throughout the festival, our student communities held meetings with representatives of foundations, associations, and companies to establish connections regarding volunteering, internships, sponsorships, and joint projects. The SKS (Health, Culture, Sports) Directorate team contacted the human resources and project departments of these institutions and invited them to participate in events and collaborations that could be held at our university in the future.

SOLIDARITY EVENTS FOR GAZA
As part of the event, Hope Tree Planting for Gaza and Silence Walk for Gaza were organized to support the Palestinian people. Our university students also took part in these meaningful events, sending a message of peace, hope, and solidarity.

A RICH PROGRAM OF COMPETITIONS AND WORKSHOPS
STKFest 2025 was a colorful event with the participation of students. Thanks to the competitions, hands-on workshops, and interactive events held throughout the festival, students had fun and gained new skills in different areas. Representatives of our university visited the community stands of other universities and exchanged views on joint project ideas.
CONTRIBUTING TO CIVIC AWARENESS
STKFest 2025 strengthened our students’ sense of social responsibility by increasing their contact with civil society organizations. It was a productive event that contributed to the promotional activities of our student communities, the expansion of their collaboration networks, and the strengthening of civic awareness.
