A Delegation from Kazakhstan’s Tourism Sector Visited Our University

A delegation from the Turkestan province of Kazakhstan, which came to Türkiye with the aim of developing the tourism of the region, visited our university and met with our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Abdulhamit Avşar.

The delegation led by Mr. Akimov Zhaxylyk Mahmutoğlu, Vice Rector of the International Tourism and Hospitality University in Turkestan, also included managers of companies operating in the tourism sector in the region. Turkestan Delegation told about the tourism potential of the region to Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Avşar, and stated that they made visits to Türkiye to increase this potential.

Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Avşar also underlined that cooperation between Turkic countries in the field of tourism, as in all matters, is of great importance. Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, Prof. Dr. Avşar said that they are ready for cooperation in tourism.

During the visit, Vice Rector of International Tourism and Hospitality University Akimov Zhaxylyk Mahmutoğlu was accompanied by Open Turist Information Center Limited Company Tourism Analysis and Development Department Digital Project Manager Zhumanov Asan Omargaliyevich, managers of important companies operating in the tourism sector, including Kim Svetlana, Yuldaşev Abdulaziz Mahamatalioğlu, Tölegenov Timur Seyfullaoğlu and Almet Maksad Aubakiroğlu. The delegation has been making visits in Istanbul, Kayseri and Konya to introduce the tourism products of the Turkestan province.
