A meeting was held with the participation of our Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu, vice-rectors and deans. At the meeting, the strategic plan, accreditation and planning for the future period were discussed and the previous period was evaluated.
Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu, vice-rectors Prof. Dr. Elçin Aykaç Alp and Prof. Dr. Abdül Halim Zaim, Dean of Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Asuman Yılmaz, Dean of Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Celalettin Aktaş, Dean of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Mustafa Said Yazıcıoğlu, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration Prof. Dr. Ömer Torlak, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design Prof. Dr. Ali Ünüvar, and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakan Hocaoğlu attended the meeting held in Cemile Sultan Grove.
In addition to evaluating the past period, the strategic plans for the next period were also reviewed at the meeting. Additionally, the issue of accreditation of departments was discussed. The Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences was previously accredited by Science, Literature, Science-Literature, Language and History-Geography Faculties Curricula Evaluation and Accreditation Association (FEDEK). The works have come to an end for the accreditation of other departments of the faculty and all departments of the Faculty of Engineering by the relevant accreditation bodies. The application process for accreditation is underway in many of our departments. In addition, the accreditation works are ongoing for 12 of our departments.
At the meeting, the works carried out to enrich the academic staff were also discussed. The meeting ended with the discussion of the suggestions and demands of the deans.
