Consul General of Tajikistan Mr. Saidzoda visited our university

Consul General of Tajikistan in Istanbul, Mr. Murad Saidzoda visited our university and met with Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu. During the meeting, the situation of Tajik students in Turkey and cooperation opportunities between Istanbul Ticaret University and universities in Tajikistan were discussed.

Consul General Mr. Saidzoda stated that he is aware of the successes achieved and opportunities provided by Istanbul Ticaret University and said that he would like to see more Tajik students study at Istanbul Ticaret University. Mr. Saidzoda said that he will do his best to facilitate the cooperation between the universities in Tajikistan and Istanbul Ticaret University, and noted that this meeting will be the first step towards achieving that goal.

Rector Prof. Dr. Oğurlu stated that the people of Turkey are brothers with the people of Tajikistan and said that they would be pleased to cooperate the universities in Tajikistan.

Head of Political Science and International Relations Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uğur Yasin Asal and TICARET TOMER (Turkish Teaching Center) Deputy Director Faculty Member Dr. Zebiniso Kamalova also attended the meeting, which ended with the reciprocal presentation of gifts by Rector Prof. Dr. Oğurlu and Consul General Mr. Saidzoda.
