Exchange Students Discovered Istanbul’s Cultural Heritage at Miniatürk

Through a Miniatürk tour organized by our university’s Exchange Programs Coordination Office, exchange students had the opportunity to get an up-close look at Istanbul’s historical and cultural heritage. The program contributed to the students’ cultural adaptation process while also strengthening interaction among participants from different countries.
The Miniatürk tour, organized by our university’s Exchange Programs Coordination Office on March 26, brought exchange students from various countries together with Istanbul’s historical and cultural riches. Held to help students who arrived at our university at the start of the semester get to know the city better and to support their cultural adaptation process, the tour provided a valuable experience. The program contributed to the students’ experience by enriching it not only academically but also socially and culturally. The students had the opportunity to explore the cultural heritage up close through miniature replicas of significant works selected from across Türkiye.
A PROGRAM ENRICHED BY INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION
In addition to 13 exchange students, the tour was attended by Lecturer Aynur Darishova, who came to our university’s Mathematics Department under the Orhun Exchange Program. Throughout the program, the students were accompanied by Betül Doğdu, Specialist from the Exchange Programs Coordination Office.
HISTORICAL HERITAGE EXAMINED UP CLOSE
As part of the Miniatürk tour, participants examined miniature replicas of significant historical structures selected from various regions of Türkiye.

Samimi bir atmosferde gerçekleşen gezi, öğrencilerin İstanbul’u daha yakından tanımalarına katkı sağladı. Farklı ülkelerden gelen katılımcılar arasındaki etkileşim güçlendi.
