Great achievement from our academician Prof. Dr. Abdullah Avey

The 2023 Edition of Research.com’s Rankings of Top Scientists in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, a leading academic platform for researchers, has been published. According to these rankings, Istanbul Ticaret University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Department of Mathematics Lecturer Prof. Dr. Abdullah Avey Sofiyev ranked 8^th in Turkey, and 1287^th in the world.

The ranking is based on the D-index (Discipline H-index) metric, which includes only articles and citations for a specific discipline. The ranking includes only leading scientists with a D index of at least 30 for academic publications in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

The second edition of Research.com’s Rankings of Top Scientists in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering was based on data collected from a variety of data sources, including OpenAlex and CrossRef. Bibliometric data was collected on December 21^st, 2022 to evaluate citation-based metrics. The place in the rankings is based on a scientist’s D-index (Discipline H-index), which includes only publications and citation data for a specific discipline.
