Hackathon Awards Were Granted

Istanbul Ticaret University Technology Transfer Office (Ticaret TTO) continued its support to the ecosystem by also organizing a Hackathon marathon subsequent to having organized the Startup Acceleration Program in the Fintech field in cooperation with Vakıf Katılım.
In the Hackathon marathon, 11 teams accompanied by their mentors competed for 36 hours based on the ideas and products they developed using their own skills and the data provided by Vakıf Katılım. A total of 30 thousand TL cash prizes were awarded to the contestants, who ranked high as per the jury evaluation, at the award ceremony.
Accordingly, the team consisting of Mr. Onur Atalar, Ms. Meliha Begüm Başçı, Mr. Ataberk Köroğlu and Ms. Selen Tuba Özdemir, won the first prize of 15.000 TL, with their project entitled “Fino”. The team consisting of Ms. Nazlı Sardoğan, Ms. Arya Teselli and Mr. Mehmed Bilgehan Çakmak won the second prize of 10.000 TL with their project entitled “Card-Z”. Lastly, the team consisting of Mr. Doğu Can Seyidoğlu and Mr. Oğuzhan Sarıtaş won the third prize of 5.000 TL with their project entitled “Super FIN”.
In addition to the cash awards, the finalists also received the opportunity to do internship at Vakıf Katılım and free office support award from the Ticaret Incubation Center.
