Hüseyin Atakan was the Guest of Online Career Talks

Istanbul Commerce University Career Center continues to bring students together with names from the business world and guide them on their career journey. The last guest of the Career Center’s “Online Career Talks” program was Form Endüstri Ürünleri Marmara and Aegean Assistant General Manager Hüseyin Atakan. Atakan shared his career journey with the students and gave advice on making a difference, empathy and doing what they love.

In the program moderated by Koray Uslu, Deputy Director of the Career Center, Atakan stated that the company had to suspend its activities for three months during the pandemic period and emphasized that the same period brought opportunities and that the importance of sectoral standards and ventilation systems was understood again. Stressing the importance of a friendly, sincere and energetic attitude in job interviews, Atakan emphasized that adding value by going beyond the job description in the workplace will bring success. Addressing students and graduates, Atakan said, “Do what you love and develop that job with love. When you love your job, you can spend most of the day with happiness.”
