Our university represented our country at the ICEF Dubai Fair

Our university participated in the ICEF Dubai Fair, an important meeting point in the field of international education, as part of Turkey’s national participation organization. Our university, which brought together education professionals from the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, made important contacts to increase student diversity and establish new partnerships.
The ICEF Dubai Fair, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from February 12-14, 2025, brought together universities and education agencies from around the world. 16 Turkish universities participated in the national participation organization carried out with the approval of the Turkish Ministry of Trade. Countries from the MENA region, including Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates, participated in the fair.
Our university was represented at the fair by International Office Coordinator Fatma Kabaoğlu and M. Furkan Çalışan. The work carried out in line with our university’s internationalization strategy attracted interest at the fair. During the fair, bilateral meetings were held with education professionals from the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, strengthening our University’s international partnerships.
RECOGNITION IN SAUDI ARABIA: OPENING NEW DOORS
Our university was recently included in the Saudi Arabia Higher Education Institutions accreditation list. With this development, all levels of education and diplomas awarded at our university have begun to be recognized in Saudi Arabia. This important step will contribute to student mobility in the region and open up new opportunities for our university.
At the fair, meetings were held with agencies recruiting students from Saudi Arabia to evaluate opportunities for cooperation. Additionally, priority was given to meetings with agencies that could recruit students from countries where student enrollment is still limited.
SUPPORT FROM THE CONSULATE GENERAL AND THE TRNC REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE
At the fair held in Dubai, the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Dubai, Onur Şaylan, and the Representative of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in Dubai, Umut Koldaş, visited our university’s stand and wished us success.
