Our university has visited ASELSAN
Our University Transportation Systems Application and Research Center Director Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ilıcalı visited ASELSAN (Askeri Electronics Industry Inc.) Deputy General Manager and the Head of the Transportation, Security, Energy, Automation and Health Systems (UGES) Department Prof. Dr. Mehmet Çelik, within the scope of the Regional Adaptive Traffic Management project that we are carrying out for the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.
Prof. Dr. Mehmet Celik presented a gift to Prof. Dr. Ilıcalı at the meeting where consultations were held regarding the implementation of the project. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ilıcalı wished that the project, which will be implemented in cooperation with the university, ASELSAN and ISBAK (Istanbul Informatics and Smart City Technologies Inc.), will be instrumental in eliminating the traffic congestion in the project area in the District of Üsküdar where schools are located and other similar areas subject to traffic congestion.

Our University’s Transportation Systems Application and Research Center Director Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ilıcalı visited the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of Republic of Turkey, Prof. Dr. Vahit KİRİŞCİ in Ankara. Within the scope of the visit, consultations were held on the steps to be taken towards the realization of the agriculture and livestock potential of our country and the projects planned in this regard.
The significance of the relationship between Non-Governmental Organizations and Universities and the importance of the advanced technology irrespective of the field were also emphasized during the visit.
