Talks on Insights into the 2nd Century of our Republic continue

The fourth of the “Insights into the 2nd Century of our Republic/Faculty of Engineering Science and Technology Talks” organized by our Faculty of Engineering took place in our Küçükyalı Campus.

Alpha Metalurji Inc. Board Member and TeknoVak Endüstri Fırın Sistemleri Inc. General Manager Materials Science Engineer Dr. Hasan Çep participated as a speaker in the panel titled “The Role of the Industrialists from Information to Technology and from Technology to Product”, moderated by our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. M. Hakan Kocaoğlu. Dr. Çep’s presentation, in which he shared important information about his educational life, experiences and studies, attracted great attention from the students of the Faculty of Engineering.

Dr. Çep, who founded TeknoVak Endüstri Fırın Sistemleri Inc. in 2016 and started producing furnaces for special processes, has achieved successful work in many fields of industry, particularly the defense, automotive and aviation industries, both in Türkiye and Europe with the furnace systems he developed. Dr. Çep, who provided guidance to the students in their careers by sharing his experiences regarding university and industry cooperation, is among the pioneers in the defense industry with his contributions to the development process of jet engines used in aviation and air defense systems.
