Istanbul Ticaret University ranked at the top in the Field-Weighted Citation Impact and Satisfaction with the Competence of Graduates Categories
Istanbul Ticaret University ranked among the top three universities in two categories in the YÖK 2024 University Monitoring and Assessment General Report. Our university ranked among the top two universities in the ‘Field-Weighted Citation Impact’ category with a citation average of 2.76, while it ranked third in the ‘Satisfaction with the Competence of Graduates in the Business World’ category.
The 2024 University Monitoring and Assessment General Report published by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) included the monitoring and assessment results of universities in Türkiye in different categories.
THE BUSINESS WORLD IS SATISFIED WITH THE COMPETENCE OF OUR GRADUATES
In the YÖK 2024 University Monitoring and Assessment General Report, the performance of Istanbul Ticaret University graduates in the business world also drew attention. Our university ranked among the top three universities in Türkiye with its Satisfaction Rate with the Competency of its Graduates. Among the universities that provided data for the satisfaction survey regarding the competency of their graduates in 2023, 44 had a satisfaction rate of 80% and above. The top 3 universities with the highest satisfaction rates were Turkish-German University, Sabancı University, and Istanbul Ticaret University.
WE RANKED SECOND IN THE FIELD-WEIGHTED CITATION IMPACT CATEGORY
According to the YÖK 2024 University Monitoring and Assessment General Report, Istanbul Ticaret University ranked second in the Field-Weighted Citation Impact category with a citation average of 2.76. The ranking was created based on the ratio of the average number of citations received to the publications of the same type where the university is indicated as the address published in the same field in journals and books indexed in Science Citation Index (SCI), SCI-Expanded, Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) and Arts & Humanities Citation Index (AHCI) ((including Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)) indexes in 2023 to the average number of citations received to an article in the same field in the world. In the Field-Weighted Citation Impact category, Osmaniye Korkutata University ranked first, Istanbul Ticaret University ranked second, and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University ranked third. Other universities in the top 10 were Ostim Technical University, Biruni University, Boğaziçi University, Ardahan University, Siirt University, Çankaya University, and Kadir Has University.
