Graduation Enthusiasm in Master’s Students

Istanbul Ticaret University bid farewell to its master’s students with a graduation ceremony.
Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Abdul Halim Zaim and Prof. Dr. Elçin Aykaç Alp, Director of the Institute of Foreign Trade Prof. Dr. İlker Kıymetli Şen, Director of the Institute of Science Prof. Dr. Doğan Kaya, Director of the Institute of Communication Science and Internet Prof. Dr. Füsun Alver, Director of the Institute of Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Figen Yıldırım, Finance Institute Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayben Koy, academicians, graduates and their families attended the graduation ceremony held at the University’s Sütlüce Campus Conference Hall.
Rector Prof. Dr. Oğurlu, who made a speech at the beginning of the event, said that the graduate institutes are very important in that they both feed the universities and add value to the country, and that today they increase the quality of people working in the public and private sectors with the education they provide.
Underlining that the Institute of Finance, the Institute of Foreign Trade and the Institute of Communication Science and Internet are the first graduate institutions established with these titles in Türkiye, Prof. Dr. Oğurlu congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their careers.
Later in the event, graduates took to the stage according to their institute. The University planted a sapling on behalf of each of its graduates. A sapling certificate was presented to each graduate at the graduation ceremony. This year, 700 students graduated from the five institutes of Istanbul Ticaret University by completing their master’s education.
