Semi-Final Excitement in Fashion and Textile Design

Ms. EdaNur Imanlı, who graduated from the Fashion and Textile Design Department at Istanbul Ticaret University during the 2021-2022 academic year, made it to the semi-finals in the 16^th of Türkiye’s most comprehensive “National Carpet Design Competition” held by Istanbul Carpet Exporters’ Association (İHİB). Our graduate, who ranked in the top 8 in the competition in which she participated in representing our university, will transform a design chosen by the sponsors determined by İHİB from among her carpet designs into a product for the final night to be held in April 2023, and exhibit this product at Premier Vision. In the competition, 50,000 TL will be awarded as the First Prize, 30,000 TL as the Second Prize, 15,000 TL as the Third Prize, and 5,000 TL will be given to other contestants of the finals who are not in the top three. We congratulate our student Ms. Eda Nur İmanlı, who prepared her portfolio and designs in our workshops, and the Department of Textile and Fashion Design, for making it to semi-finals and wish them success for the final night.
