HELP courses at Istanbul Commerce University

HELP (Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals), the main training platform developed by the Council of Europe for lawyers, is now being held for Istanbul Commerce University Law students.

HELP, which aims to train legal professionals on European human rights standards, is organized especially for judges, prosecutors, lawyers and university students.

A wide range of training resources developed and compiled under the HELP Program are available electronically. These resources have been translated into many languages. The HELP Programme also serves as a platform to keep abreast of developments in Strasbourg case law through easily accessible updates.

The Istanbul Commerce University leg of the HELP courses, organized with the support of the Council of Europe and the Ministry of Justice, will start online on Tuesday, 11 October 2022 at 11:00 am. Rector Professor Doctor Yücel Oğurlu will also attend the opening program and make a speech. The Turkish coordinators of the program will also attend the opening and provide information about HELP.

The HELP program, specially organized for Istanbul Commerce University Law students, will continue online.
