Istanbul Ticaret University participated in this year’s TEKNOFEST with four teams. Two of these four teams made it to the finals. Consisted of Istanbul Ticaret University students, the Gökbora and Göktürk Teams participated in the competition with a medium and high altitude rocket, respectively, whereas the Paksumatik team took part in the competition with a project in the field of first aid and health, and the Space and Beyond Technology team took part in the competition with a project featuring the production unmanned agricultural vehicles, which attracted great attention. Paksumatik and Space and Beyond Technology teams made it to the finals. The two teams finished the competition in the fifth place. Istanbul Ticaret University’s participantion in this event was within the scope of the decision of the Istanbul Ticaret University Publication&Research Project Coordination Board (TİCARET YAPKO) to support the researches and projects of its students. In this context, students who want to participate in the TEKNOFEST Competition are granted a material support of up to 30 thousand TL. In parallel, students who want to participate in TEKNOFEST competitions on behalf of the university can apply to YAPKO to take advantege of the said support.
