TÖMER students met at the iftar

After the iftar (the breaking meal of the Ramadan fast) event held last week, where international students studying at Istanbul Ticaret University have came together, this time students studying at TİCARET TÖMER (Istanbul Ticaret University Turkish Teaching Center) came together at the iftar. Istanbul Ticaret University Rector Prof. Dr Yücel Oğurlu, TİCARET TÖMER Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arzu Çiftoğlu Çabuk, Faculty of Law Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Şahin Akıncı and Educational Sciences Faculty Member Dr. Zebiniso Kamalova and many students attended the iftar event held in the university cafeteria.
Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu, who made a speech at the iftar event, stated that they see TÖMER students and other international students as members of the university family. Prof. Dr. Oğurlu has said, “It is necessary to learn Turkish at TİCARET TÖMER to make the best out of the university education here. I hope to see you among us after you complete your studies at TİCARET TÖMER.” Prof. Dr. Oğurlu thanked the students for accepting the iftar invitation.
TİCARET TÖMER Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arzu Çiftoğlu Çabuk stated that TİCARET TÖMER, which started with only two students at the beginning, helped 190 students learn Turkish in just one year, and thanked the university administration, Rector Prof. Dr. Oğurlu in particular, for their support. Addressing the students, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çiftoğlu Çabuk said, “We loved you all very much, we want to spend more time with you. We would love to see that you choose our university after you complete your Turkish education.”
After the speeches, the students introduced themselves and a family photo was taken.
