The “There Are No Small Mistakes in Traffic” social responsibility project, which was launched on February 28th, 2024 with the participation of the Minister of National Education Prof. Dr. Yusuf Tekin, has been initiated in Istanbul Zeytinburnu Fatma Süslügil Elementary School. The project, jointly carried out by Istanbul Ticaret University, the Ministry of National Education and the Association for Common Sense in Traffic (TRAP), aims to raise traffic and environmental awareness in children in the 2024-2025 fall semester.

RAISING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS’ TRAFFIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS
Within the scope of the project, approximately 1,500 students were reached with interactive theater performances and seminar presentations held in 10 schools last week. The events provided an entertaining and educational platform for students to demonstrate safe behavior in traffic in their daily lives and strengthen their environmental awareness.
AWARENESS-RAISING ACTIVITIES
The importance of obeying traffic rules and protecting the environment was emphasized in the project activities and students were encouraged to reinforce this knowledge through interactive demonstrations. While students became more conscious individuals by means of fun activities, the project made a significant contribution to them taking a step towards a safe and environmentally friendly future.
THE TARGET IS TO REACH 17,000 STUDENTS
It is aimed to reach approximately 17,000 students with the project activities to be carried out in at least 115 schools by the end of the semester.
