Admission Requirements for Master’s Programs
Applicants to the Economics (English) Master’s Program with Thesis must have obtained a minimum score of 55 in the Equal Weight (EA) category of the (ALES).
For the Economics (English) Non-Thesis Master’s Program, there is no ALES requirement.
For English-taught Master’s programs, applicants must have obtained at least 70 points from the YDS/YÖKDİL examinations administered by ÖSYM, or an equivalent score from an internationally recognized foreign language examination accepted by the Interuniversity Council. Applicants who do not hold a valid language certificate are required to take a foreign language examination administered by the university.
Education and Curriculum

Classes are held on weekdays between 18:30 and 21:30 and, when necessary, on weekends.

The Economics (English) Master’s Program with Thesis consists of 8 courses, a seminar course, and a thesis study.

The Economics (English) Non-Thesis Master’s Program consists of 10 courses and a final project.

Students are required to maintain at least 70% attendance for all courses.

To be eligible for the thesis defense, students must have a published article in a national or international peer-reviewed journal.
Scientific Preparation Courses
Candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree in a field different from the applied master’s program are required to take scientific preparation courses to address any academic deficiencies.
Scientific preparation courses are non-credit and subject to additional tuition fees.
