Artificial Intelligence Concentration Program

As of 2022, the Department has launched the “Artificial Intelligence Concentration Program in Social Systems and Processes.”
The aim of the program is to provide students with a strong theoretical foundation and high practical value by equipping them with artificial intelligence–based methods, one of the most effective approaches of the information age.

Through a range of courses extending from programming and artificial intelligence algorithms to modeling and simulation paradigms, as well as economics and business intelligence, students acquire highly functional, real-world skills focused on problem solving and situation improvement.

Database Project

The Department has initiated a database development project aimed primarily at serving the University’s academic staff, as well as researchers in the broader academic community, by providing microeconomic and macroeconomic data in a format that is easy to process and readily adaptable to academic research.

Within the scope of the project, publicly available data—particularly those accessed through the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye Electronic Data Distribution System (EVDS) and the Turkish Statistical Institute Data Portal—are systematically categorized. These datasets are then organized and made available to end users in formats suitable for time series, cross-sectional, and panel data analyses, depending on the structure of the data.
