Students who successfully complete the program are entitled to receive the following academic degree and title:

Conditions for Obtaining the Degree
In order to be eligible for the bachelor’s diploma, students must meet the following requirements:

Successfully complete all courses included in the program.

Accumulate at least 240 ECTS credits.

Achieve a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.00 out of 4.00.

Academic Career:
Graduates who wish to pursue an academic career may apply to master’s or integrated doctoral programs and continue their education in relevant fields.
Employment Opportunities:
Graduates of the Department of Economics enjoy a wide range of employment opportunities in both the public and private sectors. They may work as economists, analysts, brokers, bankers, inspectors, specialists, and managers in financial institutions operating in the banking sector and capital markets such as banks, investment companies, and stock exchanges; as well as in public institutions such as the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Ministry of Trade, Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT), Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA), and Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (SDIF). They may also find opportunities in international organizations such as the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). In addition, they can work in media organizations in areas such as economic journalism and economic programming. By completing the necessary qualifications, graduates may become administrative judges, and can serve in public administration as district governors or provincial governors.
International Equivalence:
Graduates can pursue academic or professional careers abroad as well. The program complies with the criteria of the European Higher Education Area (Bologna Process) and holds international recognition.
