Leaving behind the 2013-2014 academic year with 978 graduates, Istanbul Commerce University began the Promotion days for the new semester on July 3rd 2014 Thursday.

Rectorate, university administration, academics, publicity-media office are welcoming the prospective students and their parents in the preference and promotion days which are organized in Sutluce campus. In promotional activities, which will last until the evening of July 17, booths are opened in Sutluce campus.

Candidates who will make their preferences beginning from July 7 went to Sutluce, Eminonu and Kucukyali campuses to seek answers to their questions from Thursday on.

This year, the university's faculty, department and social opportunities, educational opportunities for students with scholarships and newly-opened departments will be released to the public with the participation of academics in visual and digital media. News and interviews coherent with the university's vision and mission and including informative messages to candidates take part in print media as well.

New Departments

Istanbul Commerce University which has 6 faculties, 3 institutes and 19 research and application centers will accept total of 1,265 students in 25 departments in the framework set by OSYM.

"Architecture'', '' Fashion and Textile Design" and "Industrial Design" departments opened this year in the organization of the Faculty of Engineering and Design will accept students for the first time. Faculty in question is located in Kucukyali campus.

Prospective students from outside Istanbul can get information by calling the hotline number 444 0 413 as well as from the university web page. Students can direct their questions to the academics appointed by the Faculty Dean's Office.

For candidates in Istanbul, ring travels are put into use between Eminonu and Sutluce campuses. For those who just want to go to Sutluce campus, bus service from Halicioglu is organized.
